Our roots can be traced back to the 1970’s as a home builder. As the need for new lots to build homes on increased, ownership started venturing into the land development business. Quickly realizing we weren’t the only builder in the Minneapolis market that needed access to more developed land. We also learned we had a knack for picking prime locations and the ability to develop high quality neighborhoods.
As the land development business became the primary business model for Summergate, the realization that diversification was needed to truly grow and create value for investors wasn’t far off.
Summergate was formed soon after with the goal of expanding the Land Development and Home Building business to include Real Estate Investment for ourselves and our Investors.
